Leticia Bautista AT THE TIME WAS A insurance broker and notary republic. Leticia Bautista testified that the basic job of a notary republic is to make sure the person signing the documents are in fact who they say they are. She made it clear that it is not part of the notary job description to look at the documents and determine if the document is valid or not. Mrs. Bautista next stated that she recognized exhibit four AND FIVE because she was the one that notarized them. She then stated that Barbara Bratton physically came into get these documents notarized in person WHICH WAS EXPLAINED IN EXHIBIT 6, A NOTARY JOURNAL. Mrs. BAUTITSTA UNFORTUNATELY was UNABLE TO IDENTIFY HER IN COURT. SHE STATED THAT TOO MUCH TIME HAD PASSED.
