The prosecutions first witness was Salvador Guevara. He is the person whose wife Rosela Guevara mysteriously ended up on the deed of Barbara Bratton’s fraudulently stolen home which was later corrected. Mr. Guevara is currently the fraudulent owner of the Bratton home. Prosecutor Welch first asked Mr. Guevara if he was familiar with the Bratton family home in Ontario? Mr. Guevara stated yes that he bought it in 2012. November 7th, 2012, to be exact. This statement by Mr. Guevara was a FLAT-OUT LIE!
Vance Welch then showed Mr. Guevara a document and asked him if he was familiar with it, if he could describe it, and if he could read the date in the top right-hand corner. The document was a Trustee Deed of sale, which Mr., Guevara admitted to not actually ever seeing, although he was familiar with it and TESTIFIED THAT THE DATE AND INFORMATION ON THE DEED WHEN HE PURCHASED THE HOME WERE CORRECT. Next, prosecutor Welch stated, “and in the body of this document, this is where the property was granted to you, is that correct?” Mr. Guevara went on to answer in the affirmative and confirmed that when he took possession of the home, and it was vacant.
Mr. Guevara explained how he had to go to the property and take off boards from the windows. Then he started the fixing and the cleaning of the property a few weeks after that. This all happened weeks if not a month after Mr. Guevara SUPPOSEDLY bought Barbara Bratton’s home at AUCTION. Prosecutor Welch then directed Mr. Guevara to the date of May 14, 2013. Mr. Guevara was then asked if he was at the property on this date. Mr. Guevara stated that in fact he was there with his wife. Welch then asked if something on that date happened that caused him concern. Mr. Guevara stated that he was at the property with his wife to do some cleaning and fix some sprinklers when he noticed someone yelling at his wife from a car. Mr. Guevara stated that his wife was standing right behind him when two ladies in a car which one of them were yelling that “we stole the property from her, that she was going to call the Department of Real Estate, that they were licensed real estate agents, and that they could lose their license.”
Mr. Guevara went on to state that the DEPARTMENT OF REAL ESTATE CONTACED HIS WIFE ROSELA GUEVARA, AND THAT HE AND HIS WIFE WERE CITED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF REAL ESTATE. HE THEN STATED THAT THEY WENT TO DOWNTOWN WITH ALL OF THE FILES. HE SHOWED IT TO THE INVESTIGATORS, THEY LOOKED AT EVERYHTING, AND NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH IT. EVERYHTING WAS THERE. When everything was said and done no official disciplinary action was taken against Mr. Guevara by the Board of real Estate, and he was never contacted by the F.B.I.
Next, Mr. Guevara stated that he went to the Ontario Police department to file a complaint. The basis of the complaint was the Mr. Guevara was being threatened by Barbara Bratton regarding him stealing the property from her. Later on, Mr. Guevara discovered that a CORRECTION OF GRANT DEED HAD BEEN FILED. Welch read out the part of the document that showed Ms. Bratton was far from the CRIMINAL MASTERMIND THEY PORTRAYED her AS. The part stated BARBARA BRATTON DECLARES CORRECTION AND GRANTS IT TO BARBARA BRATTON. Mr. Guevara went on to say at this point in time he believed he was the rightful owner, and that he did not give Barbara Bratton the permission to do this.
Prosecutor Welch then showed Mr. Guevara another document. It was another document that showed Barbara Bratton deeding the property back to herself. Once again Mr. Guevara stated that he did not give Barbara permission to do this. Mr. Guevara read the date on the document that said 4/11/2013. THE MAJOR POINT THE PROSECUTION WAS TRYING TO END WITH WAS THAT MR. GUEVARA GAINED LEGAL TITLE ON NOVEMBER 7, 2012, AND ON APRIL OF 2013, THESE DOCUMENTS BY me WERE FILED.
